We were very proud to see buckskin stallion Blacklaw Pelorus (Pinocchio Middelsom x Arleta Kinska) gain his Breeding Licence at the 2011 Scottish Sports Horse Stallion Grading. He scored very highly for his top temperament and careful scopey jumping technique. He was beautifully presented by his owner Ailie Haddow. Congratulations! |

Harmony Dawn enjoyed her trip to the Scottish Sportshorse Grading to receive her Sport Award for her Showjumping achievements. The judges commented on her lovely temperament and good condition considering her advancing years! |

Sadly we had to make the decision to have our grand old mare Honeybrook Lauranda put to sleep. She had been retired from breeding for several years becoming a wonderful nanny and assistant loader to our youngstock. Laura jumped to Grade A and produced several good foals one of whom is currently showjumping in Canada. Her daughter by Lauriston has been retained by us to continue her line. |

He has grown to a staggering height of over 17hh!
Our 2008 foal Pelorus is also maturing well with his beautiful buckskin coat and his dam's dapples. Thank you everyone for the updated photos. |

Elmegaardens Affair, who we sold to the USA, has been backed and is progressing well under saddle. At the KNN Inspection, Hinckley Equestrain Center, Ohio she passed her Performance Test with flying colours. Although we were sad to say goodbye to such a beautiful mare it is great to see her doing so well for her new owner who has given her a fantastic home. At the same Inspection Halifax Middelsom, who is the son of our broodmare Xeleste, also passed his KNN Performance Test and is now a Life Approved stallion. Congratulations to all! |
Blacklaw Xcalibur has been thoroughly enjoying himself on the hunting field with East Anglian Bloodhounds this winter. He behaved himself impeccably and was an excellent ambassador for the Knabstrupper breed. It is wonderful to see him so happy in his new home. |

We were absolutely delighted for the owners, breeders, handlers and our horses at the 2010 KNN Gradings. At Moulton there were four Blacklaw horses. Blacklaw XL (Blacklaw Xcalibur) was First Premium graded, Blacklaw Vice Versa (De Niro) was Best Mare and Blacklaw Viking (Pinocchio Middelsom) gained his 2 year old Stallion Licence and was First Premium graded. Blacklaw Xcalibur did a superb Performance Test making him a Life Approved KNN stallion and he was awarded BEST in SHOW. Xcalibur is the first UK bred Knabstrupper stallion to achieve this.
